Configuring WS_FTP to Access Your Site FTP
Acessing your web hosting account with WS FTP is extremely simple, and no different then how you would configure WS FTP to access other FTP resources.
- Start WS FTP client. Once you have started the client, it should open the FTP site manager.
- Click Create Site Button to start Profile Wizard
- Enter a name you want to identify your Cheapdotnet.com account in the Name Textbox
- Enter a Create In location. If you are not sure, you can click the browse button to browse available folder
- Click Next
- Enter ftp://ftp.yourwebsite.com/ in the Host Name or IP Address Box. You can enter either your FTP address (ftp://ftp.yourwebsite.com/) or the temp FTP address in this box. Your FTP information can be found in the Account Information Section of the control panel.
- Click Next
- Enter your username in the User Id box.
- Enter your password in the Password box.
- Click Finish.
- then Connect.
